Coolkeeragh Power Station




Coolkeeragh Power station is a power station in Northern Ireland.

Coolkeeragh power station is an oil - fired power station. This means Coolkeeragh uses oil to make electricity.

Coolkeeragh Power Station has been generating electricity since 1959 in Londonderry. Coolkeeragh Power Station was rebuilt and reopened in 2003.

Coolkeragh produces electricity for Northern Ireland.

Coolkeeragh is about 14 miles away from Strabane on the River Foyle.

I like to see the children working on this important subject. It is very interesting. I hope the children are having fun as well as learning. I hope they will do all they can to improve our environment.
